I wrote this song at a crossroads where everyone around me was saying it was time to 'be realistic' and finally settle down. There is a specific kind of loneliness that comes when you’re on a road that nobody else seems to see, and I started hearing these echoes of doubt late at night that were louder than my own voice. I sat down with my guitar and realized that those 'abandoned dreams' everyone talks about aren't a burden I have to carry—they are the very things that make me whole. We cut this track with a heavy, driving rhythm to mirror that feeling of building a future brick by brick, even when the storm is hitting your face. It’s for anyone who knows they aren’t just another name in a crowd.
