I wrote this one late at night after a pretty rough conversation with someone who told me I was chasing ghosts. I was sitting on my back porch in Tennessee, looking at the dead-end road I've driven a thousand times, and I realized that the hardest part of this life isn't the work—it's the voices trying to convince you to settle for 'normal.' We cut this track with a heavy kick drum and some overdriven guitars to match that fire I felt in my chest. To me, it’s not just a song; it’s a promise I made to myself to keep building, brick by brick, even when the storm is howling.
