The story — in my words

I wrote this song at four in the morning when the house was completely silent and the world felt like it had stopped spinning. I was thinking about the sheer distance we travel—emotionally and physically—to get to the people who truly ground us. The line about the 'silver track' came from a memory of looking out a train window at night, watching the moon hit the rails and feeling like I was being pulled toward a destiny I couldn't ignore. We cut this track with a lot of space in the arrangement to let that feeling of 'empty space' breathe. It’s not just a love song to a person; it's about that moment of total surrender where you stop holding back and finally give every broken, beautiful piece of yourself away.
