The story — in my words

I wrote this one during a summer where the nights felt like they were never going to end. I was hanging out in a dive bar on the outskirts of town, watching this couple who just seemed completely dialed into each other and the music, oblivious to the rest of the room. We cut this in a single afternoon at the studio, trying to capture that exact lightning-in-a-bottle feeling of a wild chase and a love that doesn't follow any rules. It’s about that moment when the volume is turned all the way up and the rhythm takes over your pulse. I wanted the guitars to feel like they were riding the thunder, reflecting that raw, unpolished energy of a night where anything can happen as long as you let the music ignite.
