The story — in my words

I wrote this one while watching the fog roll in over the coast, thinking about the people in our lives who act as lighthouses. We all hit those moments where the sails are torn and the path feels completely lost to the waves, but then someone—a partner, a friend, or even a deep-seated faith—shines through to bring us back. I wanted the music to feel like that transition from a howling wind to the safety of the shore. We cut the track with a driving pulse to mimic a heartbeat, because that's what a beacon is: it's a constant, rhythmic reminder that you’re not alone in the dark. It’s a song for anyone currently drifting, hoping they see that glow on the horizon and realize the shadows are finally starting to creep away.
