The story — in my words

I wrote this song at a time when I realized the person I loved was living behind a mask. It’s that heavy, suffocating moment when you realize the person you trusted isn't who they said they were, and every conversation starts feeling like a circular game. I was sitting in my living room at 3:00 AM, wide awake while they slept perfectly fine, and I just realized I didn't want to fix it anymore; I wanted to clear the ground. We tracked the vocals with this raw, grit-infused energy because it’s not just a sad song—it’s a declaration. I wanted the listener to feel that heat of the fire actually cleansing the past, turning that battleground back into a fresh start. It’s about the freedom that only comes after you let the old world crumble.
