I wrote this one afternoon while thinking about how modern dating often feels like a drive-thru menu where people only want the 'sides' and not the substance. I wanted to channel that classic, shoo-wop energy of the 50s and 60s but flip the script on the lyrics. We cut this in a room that smelled like old vinyl and coffee, trying to capture that raw, punchy vocal delivery. It’s my way of saying that if you want the 'shake'—the fun, the heels, the glitter—you better be ready for the 'fries' too, which are the salty, messy, sweatpants-wearing days that make us human. It's a reminder that I’m a full-size meal, and I’m not trimming myself down for anyone who can't handle the heat.
