The story — in my words

I wrote this song on a day when the world felt particularly loud, the kind of day where your phone won't stop buzzing and your own thoughts start to feel like white noise. We cut this in a session where I kept telling the band to leave space for the 'silence' mentioned in the lyrics. I wanted to capture that friction between the chaotic spin of modern life and that steady, immovable core we all have deep down. It started as a poem about physics and the vastness of space, but it evolved into something much more personal about intuition. To me, being 'caught in the drift' isn't about being lost; it's about realizing that even when you're moving through the unknown, you are still the anchor of your own story if you just listen.
