The story — in my words
I wrote this one after watching someone I care about get caught in a cycle of self-destruction, burning every bridge they had while thinking they were winning. We cut this in the studio with a heavy, driving rhythm because I wanted the track to feel like that moment of realization when you finally hit a wall. I was thinking about how easy it is to blame everyone else for your chaos until you finally look in the mirror and see that the common denominator is you. It isn’t meant to be an insult; it’s a wake-up call. We really pushed the intensity on the chorus to mirror that internal pressure. To me, it’s about the strength it takes to admit you're wrong and the hope that comes from choosing a different path before it's too late.
