The story — in my words

I wrote this track while sitting in a cold, fluorescent-lit waiting room, watching those sterile machines hum and realizing how much of our lives we spend under that specific, sickly green glow. It felt like we were all just lining up for something inevitable, laughing and joking to keep from losing our minds. I wanted to capture that friction—the contrast between the 'plastic halo' of modern convenience and the raw, heavy feeling that the gears are finally starting to align for the end. We cut the vocals in a way that felt breathless, like we were actually racing against that ticking heater in the background. It’s a song for the people who see the exit signs blinking and decide to dance right underneath them anyway.
