The story — in my words

I wrote this song while sitting on a cold, concrete platform at 2:00 AM, watching the flickering light of a dying vending machine. I was at a point in my life where the fear of staying the same finally became heavier than the fear of moving on. I wanted to capture that visceral, physical sensation—the smell of ozone, the 'rail dust' under your fingernails, and the way your heart hammers against your ribs right before you commit to a change you can't take back. It’s about that split second when the signal turns green and you decide to stop being a ghost in your own life. We cut the tracks to feel like that building tension of a train coming into the station, heavy and unstoppable.
