I wrote this one during a season where I felt like I was constantly slamming my head against a brick wall, trying to force a specific outcome in my career that just wasn't happening. I was exhausted from the hustle and the constant 'what ifs.' We cut this track in a single afternoon, and you can hear that immediate sense of release in the vocal. It was my way of telling myself to stop white-knuckling the steering wheel. Sometimes the best things happen when you finally take your foot off the gas and let the road take you where it’s actually going. It's a song about the strength found in surrender rather than the weakness we often mistake it for. I hope it helps anyone else out there who is tired of fighting the current.
