The story — in my words

I wrote this during a season where the quiet in my house felt less like peace and more like a heavy weight. I was grappling with some old ghosts and that feeling of being completely invisible even when you’re screaming at the top of your lungs. We cut the vocals in a small, cramped booth to capture that sense of isolation, but as the bridge builds, we let the instrumentation explode to mirror that moment of finally breaking through the floor. It started as a song about drowning, but by the time I finished the final verse, I realized I was actually writing my own way out. It’s for anyone who feels like they’re fighting a war that nobody else can see.
