The story — in my words
I wrote this one on a humid July night when the air was so thick you could almost see the electricity in it. We were sitting out back, and I realized how easy it is to let your internal pilot light go dim when the world starts wearing you down. I wanted to write something that felt like a literal ignition switch. When we got into the studio, we pushed the tempo because I wanted that feeling of a heartbeat racing right before something big happens. This isn't just a love song; it’s about that raw, necessary energy we all need to keep from going stale. It’s meant to be played loud with the windows down, capturing that fleeting moment when the music takes over and the spirit finally starts to glow.
