The story — in my words

I wrote this song at a time when I felt less like a person and more like a collection of data and expectations. I was obsessed with maintaining this 'perfect' version of myself—the ego I designed—until the motherboard finally melted under the pressure. We cut this in the studio with the focus on that buzzing, static-heavy energy because that’s what a breakdown feels like to me. It’s that sharp smell of ozone right before a storm or a short circuit. 'Fractured Halo' is about the moment the facade finally gives way and you realize that burning down everything you thought you were is the only way to figure out who you actually are. It’s messy, it’s cold, it’s electric blue, and it’s the most honest I’ve been in years.
