The story — in my words

I wrote this late one night when the past felt like it had its own physical mass, almost like I was walking through water just to get across the room. I was thinking about how we carry old grief like stones in our pockets, convinced that holding on is what keeps us grounded, when really it just keeps us from breathing. We cut this in the studio with the idea that the music should feel like a slow-motion collapse that eventually turns into flight. I wanted to capture that specific transition where the 'heavy things' finally shatter and you realize that hitting the ground isn't an ending—it's where the seeds are. It's my own little anthem for anyone tired of playing Atlas and ready to just let the ceiling fall.
