The story — in my words

I wrote this song during a season when it felt like every structure I had spent years building was suddenly tilting on a weak foundation. We all have those moments where the life we envisioned starts to wobble like a deck of cards in a high wind. I was sitting in my studio, looking at the mess of things, and the phrase 'I am the key' just hit me like a lightning bolt. It shifted my perspective from being a victim of the collapse to being the architect of the rebuild. We cut the track with a driving energy because I wanted to capture that defiant feeling of standing in the rubble but knowing exactly how to rise once more. It’s a reminder that while the structures around us are temporary, the love and the drive we carry inside are what truly endure.
