I wrote this during one of those stretches where the distance between me and the person I loved felt like a physical weight on my chest. I was spending so much time in my own head, just waiting for the sun to go down so I could finally get back to that 'dreamscape' where things were actually okay. We cut the track with a bit of a driving rhythm because it’s not just a sad song; it’s about that desperate, hopeful momentum of trying to pull someone closer through sheer willpower. It’s that feeling when you're waking up for hours in a cold room, just wishing you could stay under a little longer because reality hasn't caught up to your heart yet. I wanted the music to feel like that bridge between two worlds.
