The story — in my words

I wrote this one at three in the morning when the city felt less like a home and more like an adversary. I was staring at the weeds pushing through the cracks in the sidewalk outside my window, and I realized that those tiny greens had more fight in them than I did at that moment. We cut the track in a hazy session where I wanted the guitars to feel like they were dragging against the pavement, heavy and burdened, before finally finding that upward lift. It’s about that specific, raw point where your knees hit the dirt and you have to decide if you’re staying down or using that earth to push off of. This isn't just about survival; it's about the noisy, messy process of refusing to be silent when everything around you tells you to quit.
