The story — in my words
I wrote this one while sitting in a drafty bus station at three in the morning, watching the moonlight hit the pavement in a way that looked almost like peeling paint. I spent so many years thinking I could outrun my own name by following lines on a map, but I eventually realized that every road I took was just a circle paved in pride. We cut this track in one take to capture that desperate, breathless energy of finally knowing where you belong. I wanted the listener to feel that shift from the cold metal of a waiting room bench to the warmth of a porch light. It’s not just about a physical trip; it’s about the moment you decide to stop being a ghost and start being a man again.
