I wrote this one on a Tuesday night when the silence in my house felt a little too loud. I’ve always found myself standing on the edge of the circle, watching everyone else follow the same beat while I’m tapping my foot to something else entirely. There’s a certain kind of peace you find when you finally stop trying to squeeze into a box that wasn't built for you. We cut the vocals in a single take because I wanted that raw, unpolished edge to come through—breaths and all. It’s not a sad song, really; it’s more of a realization that being an outsider isn't about being lost, it’s about having the guts to walk the long way home just to see the stars. I hope it finds the people who need to hear that it's okay to be different.
