The story — in my words

I wrote this on a morning when I literally couldn't catch my breath. It felt like the walls were closing in, and every tiny ticking sound from the clock was just hammering at my skull. We’ve all been told to just 'keep it together,' but I reached a point where the pretending actually became more dangerous than the collapse itself. We tracked the vocals when I was still in that headspace, raw and frustrated. I wanted to capture that literal feeling of the sirens going off in your head when society asks for more than you have left to give. It’s a song about the moment you stop running from the breakdown and let it happen so you can finally start building something real from the wreckage.
