I wrote this one on a Tuesday night in a cramped motel room outside of Austin when my head wouldn't stop spinning from the road. It wasn't about the medicine cabinets, really—it was about that desperate itch for a reset button. I was feeling that frantic, 24-hour countdown where every minute feels like a mile you haven't traveled yet. When we got into the studio, I told the band to play it like they were trying to outrun a storm. We leaned into that driving, nervous energy you only get when your heart's a runaway train and the only cure is a cranked-up amp and a stiff drink. It’s a song for anyone who’s ever felt like they’re burning up and losing ground, just looking for a little temporary peace to get through the night.
