I wrote this during a week where the 24-hour news cycle and the constant digital buzz felt like they were physically tightening around my chest. It felt like everything was moving at a pace I wasn’t designed to keep up with. I was sitting in my living room, watching my family’s faces, and realized they were the only things that felt real anymore. 'I’m Losing My Grip' is a confession of that vertigo we all feel sometimes—that sense of being pulled under by things that don't actually matter. I wanted the track to feel like a deep breath, or better yet, like finally closing the door on a storm outside. It’s my way of drawing a line in the sand and deciding who gets to have my attention and my heart.
