The story — in my words

I wrote this on a night when the world wouldn't stop spinning, sitting by a window just watching the rain hit the glass. I’d been carrying around this heavy, jagged worry for years—what I call the 'inner storm' in the lyrics—and for the first time, I just stopped fighting it. I realized that peace wasn't something I had to go out and find; it was what was left over once I finally let the old shadows go. We kept the recording very intimate to capture that feeling of a 'quiet breath.' It’s about that physical sensation of warmth blooming in your chest when you finally decide to trust the silence. It’s my own way of saying that even after the longest winter, a brave new sunrise is always waiting if you just stay still long enough to see it.
