I wrote this on a morning when the sun finally broke through after a week of heavy rain, both outside my window and inside my head. I was thinking about how easily we let the shadows of life dim our natural vibrance, and I wanted to create a reminder that we carry our own light. We cut this track with a driving rhythm to mimic a heartbeat, because I wanted listeners to feel that physical pulse of life. When we recorded the line about the 'tapestry of life,' I kept thinking about all the different people I’ve met who keep going despite the odds. This isn't just a happy song; it's a defiant choice to stay bright when the world tries to turn the lights out on you.
