The story — in my words
I wrote this one on a rainy Tuesday in Nashville when the walls felt like they were closing in. I was sitting in my small studio, watching the traffic move below like some distant world I didn't belong to anymore. It’s that feeling of being at your absolute limit, where your own mind feels like a dangerous neighborhood you shouldn't walk through alone. We cut the track with heavy, driving drums and a guitar tone that bites just as hard as the lyrics. I didn't want it to sound pretty because despair isn't pretty—it’s loud and it’s chaotic. This song isn't just about the fall; it's that desperate, gut-wrenching plea for someone to reach out and pull you back before the ground gives way for good.
