The story — in my words

I wrote this one after a particularly questionable bowl of roadside chili that decided to make its exit at the worst possible time. We were cutting tracks in a humid little studio, and the guys kept laughing every time I mentioned the motorcycle mags and the extra shorts. It’s a self-deprecating romp, really. I was thinking about how we all take ourselves so seriously until biology takes over and levels the playing field. My girl Sunny actually did give me that look—the one that says, 'Clean it up or get the diapers.' It’s a messy, honest slice of life that hits a little too close to home for anyone who’s ever had their nerves go wild like a cat in a room full of plastic bags.
