The story — in my words

I wrote this one after a long stretch where it felt like the walls were closing in and everyone was just going through the motions. I was sitting in my studio, frustrated by that 'stuck in a rut' feeling, and I just started banging out this driving rhythm on the guitar. It wasn't about a specific club or a place, but rather that universal need to just roar back at the world and say we aren't just background characters in someone else's story. When we cut the track, I wanted that 'crashing every party' energy to bleed through the speakers. It’s a reminder to myself, and hopefully to anyone listening, that we have the power to define our own time before the moment fades away.
