The story — in my words

I wrote this song at 3:00 AM when the silence in my room felt way too loud. You know those nights where you can’t catch your breath because you’re hyper-aware of every single second slipping away? That rhythmic 'tick, tick, tick' wasn't just coming from the clock on the wall; it felt like it was hammering inside my skull. I wanted to capture that frantic, claustrophobic feeling of being locked inside your own head with no key. We tracked the vocals with a lot of grit because I was actually feeling that exhaustion and desperation in the booth. It’s about that cycle of anxiety where time feels like both a ghost and a cage, and the only way I knew how to process it was to lean into the noise.
