The story — in my words

I wrote this one at three in the morning while staring at a bathroom floor, feeling the absolute weight of a life I didn't recognize anymore. I wanted to capture that specific, stifling atmosphere—the hum of the fan, the steam on the glass, and that desperate urge to just let the water rise and wash the slate clean. We cut the vocals in a tiny, cramped room to keep that sense of claustrophobia alive. It’s not just about sadness; it’s about that tipping point where you’re so tired of the fight that the 'under' actually starts to feel like a relief. I was trying to find a way to describe the moment the mirror fogs over and you finally stop hating the person looking back because they’ve simply vanished.
