The story — in my words

I wrote this during a week when everything around me felt like it was fracturing under the weight of ego and greed. I kept seeing people fight for these 'crowns of stone'—things that look heavy and important but are actually just dead weight. I wanted the track to feel like a pressure cooker. We cut the vocals in a single take because I wanted that raw, jagged edge where you can almost taste the dust in the air. When the chorus hits, it’s not just a melody; it’s a physical need to get out and find higher ground. It started with that repetitive, driving rhythm in my head, like someone pounding on a door that’s finally about to give way. It’s my way of saying I’m done following the old rules.
