I was thinking about how we all carry these heavy, invisible weights—the lice in the hair, the soot on the hands—those small, ugly details of a hard life. We cut this track to feel like a slow burn that finally explodes. I wanted to capture that specific moment when you stop hiding in the shadows of a bar and decide to dance your way out of the wreckage. It’s about two people who are absolutely beat down but refuse to stay that way. When I drop that coin in the slot in the lyrics, it isn't just about music; it’s about choosing to feel alive again even when the world feels like ash.
