The story — in my words
I wrote this piece late one night while I was stuck in that strange, half-awake trance that happens during a long haul home. We were turning left onto Park Road, and the rhythm of the car started feeling like a pulse. I wanted to capture that repetitive, almost mechanical kindness of a GPS voice or a passenger checking in to make sure you haven't drifted off. We cut this in a single take to keep that hypnotic, circular energy alive. It isn't just about a physical destination; it's about the relief of knowing someone is still there with you in the quiet. I hope it feels like a soft place to land after a long day behind the wheel.
