The story — in my words

I wrote this one while sitting in a parked car on a humid July night, watching the heat waves rise off the asphalt. I wanted to capture that precise moment when the city feels like a powder keg and one look from the right person is the match that sets the whole block off. We cut the tracks to feel like a vintage engine—a bit shaky, a bit dangerous, and loud enough to drown out the rest of the world. It’s about that 'killer queen' who makes you want to drop the clutch and forget every rule you ever learned. We kept the rhythm heavy and the dashboard glow bright in the mix, trying to bottle that feeling of being young, reckless, and absolutely untouchable under the streetlights.
