The story — in my words
I wrote this track during a period when I was obsessed with the mechanical repetition of city life and the way we surrender our bodies to the rhythm of a dark club to escape it. I wanted to capture that precise moment when the strobe hits and you feel like you’re becoming part of the circuitry. We cut this in a basement studio with the lights off, pushing the levels until the speakers started to distort just enough to feel dangerous. It’s about the friction between the human pulse and the digital grid. When I recorded the vocals, I wasn't just singing; I was barkin' orders at the machine, trying to see who would break first—me or the system. It’s raw, it’s loud, and it’s meant to be played where the air is thick.
