That's Not My Destiny ©

The story — in my words
I wrote this one late at night when I felt like the walls of 'what I should be doing' were closing in on me. Everyone has a blueprint for your life—your parents, your boss, even your friends—and sometimes you wake up and realize you're living in a house you didn't design. I wanted the music to feel like a door kicking open. We cut this in a small room with the amps cranked way up, trying to capture that specific friction of breaking away from a pre-written fate. It wasn't about being angry; it was about being honest for the first time in a long time. Every time I sing that hook, I’m reminding myself that I own my future, no matter who claims otherwise.
