The story — in my words

I wrote this one late at night when the house felt a little too quiet and the refrigerator hum started sounding like a conversation. I wanted to capture that unsettling feeling that the person in charge isn't just a boss or a leader, but something fundamental and terrifying—like the wood in the table or the oxygen in your lungs. We cut this track in a room where the air felt thick, trying to get that silver, metallic sound to mirror the rattling silverware I kept imagining in the lyrics. It’s not a song about winning a fight; it’s about the realization that the fight was decided before you even woke up. I was thinking a lot about the fragility of our daily reality and what happens when the architect of that reality finally decides to step through the veil.
