The story — in my words

I wrote this piece during a time when I felt like I was constantly running on empty, spiritually and financially. I realized that my inner dialogue was cluttered with 'weeds'—those nagging thoughts that there would never be enough to go around. I wanted to create a space, a literal auditory garden, where I could walk myself through the process of uprooting that guilt and planting something worth growing. We recorded this with a very intentional, slow tempo to match a resting heartbeat, focusing on the transition from the grey, wilted thoughts to that golden, warm light of worthiness. It isn't just a song to me; it's the practice I used to find my own steady ground again.
