I wrote this one while I was sweeping up mud for the third time in a single afternoon. I realized that the things that drive me the craziest about my man—the screen door left wide open, the boots by the bed, his general lack of a filter—are the exact same reasons I can’t quit him. We cut this track with a bit of a front-porch swing feel because it needed that lazy, humid energy of a Southern summer. This isn't a fairy tale about a prince in a clean suit; it’s a tribute to the guy who makes my biscuits burn because I’m too busy staring at his grin. It’s messy, it’s frustrating, and it’s the most honest kind of love I know how to put into words.
