The story — in my words

I wrote this song while staring at a construction site that had been abandoned for months. The rusted rebar looked like a rib cage, and it got me thinking about how we build these rigid lives only to watch the logic fail us when things get heavy. We cut this in a session where I wanted the guitars to feel like they were grinding against each other, mirroring that mental loop where you’re searching for a door that just isn't there. It’s meant to be claustrophobic—capturing that specific panic of being 'debris that never hits the floor.' We kept the tempo driving because the chaos doesn't give you a chance to breathe; it just keeps spinning until the bolts finally snap. It’s a snapshot of that moment when the structure of your world becomes the very thing that breaks you.
