I wrote this one after a long night in a drafty hotel in Brussels, watching the rain hit the windows and imagining a high-stakes game of cat and mouse unfolding in the lobby below. I wanted to capture that precise feeling of 'tailored tension'—the way luxury and danger seem to occupy the same quiet, expensive spaces. We cut the tracks to feel like a heartbeat accelerating, using that 'silken snare' to ground the rhythm while the guitars swirl like neon reflections on wet pavement. It’s less about a literal crime and more about that intoxicating, velvet-draped adrenaline you feel when you're chasing something that doesn't want to be found. We kept the mix dense and heavy to mirror that thick, midnight city air.
