I wanted to capture that defiant urge to just find a dive bar, ignore the noise, and let a loud guitar riff wash everything away. We cut the track with this intent to blend a traditional swing rhythm with a jagged, aggressive rock edge—something that felt both vintage and immediate. It’s about that specific sanctuary you find in a crowded room where the beat is the only thing that’s real. I was thinking about how we turn chaos into something beautiful just by refusing to let it stop us from moving. We’re all just rebels in disguise when the lights go down.
