The story — in my words

I wrote this one while drifting through the cool, mist-heavy air of Baguio City late at night. There is a specific rhythm to the way the streets wind there, especially when you hit that turn onto Upper Session Road and the city lights start to blur. I wanted to capture that almost hypnotic state of being behind the wheel, where the repetitive nature of the drive becomes a kind of prayer or a conversation with whoever is sitting in the passenger seat—or maybe even someone who isn't there at all. It’s less of a traditional ballad and more of a rhythmic mantra. We cut the track to feel like a continuous loop, mirroring that feeling of circling the same streets while looking for a reason to keep moving, grateful for the company in the dark.
